Terms of use

The agreement between you and ReadyToSign. Plain English, and nothing in it takes away your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Last updated 18 October 2026 · Draft for legal review · Details marked like this are being finalised before launch.

The short version
  • ReadyToSign is general information, not legal advice. Ask a lawyer or licensed conveyancer before you sign.
  • The AI can miss things. It only reads what your papers contain.
  • The monthly plan is unlimited readings for one person or one business. No caps.
  • Cancel the monthly plan in one click. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
  • If a paid reading fails, the credit comes back automatically. Your consumer-law rights always apply.

01Who we are

ReadyToSign is operated by Business legal name, ABN ABN, Business address. Contact: support@ email. By creating an account or running a reading, you agree to these terms.

02What ReadyToSign is, and isn't

ReadyToSign reads the contract of sale and vendor disclosure papers you upload, and checks a few public sources. It describes what the papers say and what they leave out.

It is not a conveyancer, lawyer, surveyor, building inspector or valuer. It doesn't tell you whether to sign, what to offer or how to negotiate. Ask a lawyer or licensed conveyancer before you sign anything.

03Using a report

  • A major item is a reason to ask questions, not a reason to rely on the report alone.
  • Findings marked unverified, or as needing a professional, are pointers, not conclusions.
  • Public data can be out of date. The papers and official certificates are the legal record.
  • Suggested questions are information requests, not legal advice. Your conveyancer may phrase them differently.

04Accuracy

Readings are produced by an AI model and each finding is checked against your text. It can still miss things or misread them. It can only read what your papers contain, and it can't tell whether a document is out of date, incomplete or wrong. Scanned or faint pages may be read poorly, and the report says when text recognition confidence was low. Very long papers are trimmed, and the report says when that happens.

05Your account

You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email. Keep access to that inbox to yourself. One account is for one person or one business. Don't share an account between unrelated people.

06Your papers

Only upload papers you're entitled to use for deciding whether to buy, such as papers the agent or vendor gave you, or papers a client gave you for that purpose. You keep all rights in your papers. You let us process them only to produce your reading and report.

07Your branding

On the monthly plan you can add your own business name, logo and contact details to your reports and PDFs. You must have the right to use them, and they must not be misleading.

08Acceptable use

Please don't scrape the site, use scripts or bots to run readings, share an account between unrelated people, resell readings without a written partner agreement, or upload anything unlawful or unrelated to buying property.

09Paid reviews and partner codes

Every review is paid: a single review, a 10-pack or the monthly plan. Payments are not open yet. Until they are, you can join the launch list and we will email you when ReadyToSign opens. Joining costs nothing and commits you to nothing.

Some real estate agents, conveyancers and other partners hold partner codes. A code may add a set number of readings to your account. You can redeem one partner code per account. Readings from a code expire 30 days after you redeem it, have no cash value and cannot be transferred. We can turn off a code that is misused. Partners may also be given a time-limited trial of the monthly plan.

Accounts we set up for testing may hold readings for that purpose.

10Paid readings and the monthly plan

Paid readings aren't on sale yet. When they are:

PlanPriceWhat you get
SingleA$49One reading
10-packA$399Ten readings. They don't expire while your account is open
MonthlyA$79 a monthUnlimited readings, with no monthly or daily cap. Includes your own branding on reports

Prices are in Australian dollars. GST: GST status. Payments are processed by Stripe.

11Renewal and cancelling

The monthly plan renews automatically each month until you cancel. Your account page shows the next renewal date, and we email you 3 days before each renewal. You can cancel in one click from your account page, and you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.

12Refunds

If a paid reading fails to return, the credit is restored automatically. If you were charged and didn't get a reading, email support@ email and we'll refund you.

You also have rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a reading has a major problem, you can ask for a refund or for the reading to be redone. We don't refund a completed reading just because you changed your mind.

13Unused credits

If you delete your account, or we stop offering paid readings, you can ask for a refund of unused 10-pack credits at A$39.90 each within 30 days. Email support@ email before deleting your account.

14Our responsibility

We provide readings with due care and skill, as the Australian Consumer Law requires. A reading is general information based only on the papers you upload and the public sources we list. If a reading fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you're entitled to the remedies the Australian Consumer Law provides. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those rights.

15Suspending or closing an account

We only suspend an account for a breach of these terms or abuse of the service, and we give notice where practicable. If we suspend or close your account for any other reason, we refund unused paid credits and any part of the monthly plan you've paid for but can't use. You can close your account any time from the account page.

16Changes to these terms or prices

We'll email paid users at least 30 days before a change that affects them, including a price change for the monthly plan. You can cancel before it starts and get a refund of unused credits. Other changes are posted on this page with a new date.

17If ReadyToSign closes

We'll give at least 30 days' notice, stop renewals, and refund unused paid credits on request. Reports are deleted on their normal 7-day schedule.

18Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of State. That doesn't limit any consumer rights you have under the law of your own state or territory.

19Contact

Questions, refunds and anything else: support@ email. We reply within 2 business days. Privacy matters: privacy@ email.
